European EMAS AWARDS 2011

- praising superior environmental performance

Brussels/ Berlin/ Dresden/ Krakow:

ko floriana has been assigned by the European Commission to create two new trophy designs for the EMAS award ceremony 2011. during the ceremony we could proudly announce that the EU Commission had decided to keep our new EMAS trophy designs indefinitely - to establish a high recognition value for the years to come.

EMAS (eco-management & audit scheme)

is the premium environmental management tool that helps organisations with proactive approach to environmental challenges to continually improve their environmental performance.

an EMAS award is the most prestigious award in environmental management

ko floriana - generally putting a high emphasis on sustainable design - has gladly accepted the challenge and created two highly ecological trophy designs:

36 nominee trophies and 6 winner trophies were manufactured!

they were handed over during a prestigious award ceremony in the historic Wieliczka salt mine near Krakow, Poland on november 17th 2011.

FLORIANA OHLDAG held a speech on the ecology of the new trophies.
